SAN ANTONIO -- We talked to Rep. Will Hurd before he made his trip to Guatemala on immigration -- an issue he says the United States needs to improve.
"Sometimes when we deport people to those countries, especially hardened criminals, we aren't sharing all of the intelligence we have on some of them. Some of them are gang members, some of them are violent criminals. We should be increasing that level of cooperation," he said.
Hurd says what no one's talking about is how we benefited from immigration before and we need to do the same now.
