SAN ANTONIO - This week's News 4 San Antonio Blue Plate Award goes to OnLive Hall of Fame Cafe located at 2404 Houston Street.

From sandwiches to wings - funky fries, desserts and cool drinks like the disco punch - this cafe will leave you in a good mood... and stuffed!

The special, 'Joes R&B, I don't give a damn sammich!' is huge, stuffed with all kinds of deli meat, cheese piled high with lettuces tomatoes and olives.

The vibe is all about music. The owner, April Ward, just opened it last month, and wanted to incorporate her music background.

"I go to Memphis a lot. I used to film for the Just Blues Awards for six years, so I decided to bring something like that to the East Side," said Ward.

She couldn't be happier. Her little sandwich shop is being recognized in a big way.

"Thank you so much! I just want to say thank you to the health department and ya'll for coming out to award us this nice plate. We will put it up. And thanks to my staff. They have a lot to do with keeping the place clean, and as you can see we clean every day," said Ward with a chuckle.
