SAN ANTONIO- A teenage girl was taken to the hospital in serious condition after a major accident happened between two cars early Sunday morning.
At 1:32 a.m., firefighters and police responded to the 7900 block of Prue Road for a major crash.
The Sergeant at the scene said when officers arrived, they found a heavily-damaged Mustang. A teen girl had been ejected and was trapped underneath the car.
Firefighters had to lift the car up to get her out from underneath. The teen was taken to University Hospital in serious condition.
Other people were found inside the car at the time of the crash. Two men were seated up front with two women in the back.
All of the victims were taken to the hospital with various, but non-life threatening injuries.
There were two men in a Dodge Challenger that was also involved in the crash. The driver was taken to the hospital with very minor injuries.
The Sergeant said the two cars were going north, when one tried to pass the other. One of the cars clipped the other and sent the Mustang spinning out of control.
As the Mustang spun around, it hit a pole.
Right now, it is unknown if alcohol was a factor.
