High pressure is in control, that means mostly sunny to sunny afternoons this weekend and highs will once get close to the 100 degree mark. So no matter where you go in the state look for mostly to sunny skies and hot temps.
The High will weaken and move more Westerly over the early part of the week. This will open up the Gulf of Mexico and allow a couple of disturbances to move through between Monday and late Wednesday. Showers and Thunderstorms will develop especially Tuesday late and early Wednesday. Temps will cool off slightly before rebounding into the upper 90s by weeks end.
