A Pacific cold front will move eastward tonight and allow a drier air mass to briefly build into the region on Monday. Sunshine returns to the entire area as high pressure builds in at the surface and the upper levels of the atmosphere. Enjoy the sunshine because by Monday night low level moisture returns and drizzle and fog is expected by Tuesday morning. Disturbances in the upper levels of the atmosphere will increase our thunderstorm chances starting Tuesday afternoon and staying in the forecast until Wednesday night.
Another cool front moves through early Thursday morning bringing with it sunny skies for the end of the work week and for the first part of next weekend.
