A weak cold front will pass this morning and scour out the fog and mist that is in patches across the area to start out our work week.. A much drier air mass moves in today ending our rain chances but a warm and breezy day is expected. The cooler air will not arrive until Monday evening.
The first day of Spring is Tuesday and cooler conditions are in the forecast with lows in the 40s and highs in the 70s. The cool nights and sunny mild afternoons will continue until Thursday as high pressure dominates our weather pattern.
Gulf moisture returns to the region Friday and next weekend will be warm and humid with widely isolated showers and thunderstorms possible on Saturday.
- Today: Becoming sunny skies and breezy. highs near 80. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.
- Tuesday: Sunny and cooler. Lows upper 40s and a high in the middle 70s.
- Wednesday: Sunny and cool. Lows upper 40s and a high in the middle 70s.
