FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER

GAME OF THE WEEK - SMITHSON VALLEY VS. NO. 1 JUDSON

CONVERSE- Tre'von Moehrig-Woodard's 25-yard touchdown catch in overtime led Smithson Valley to a 40-37 win over No. 1 Judson on Friday Night.

The loss is Judson's first of the season.

With the win, the Rangers (8-1 overall, 5-1 in Distirct 27-6A) are in a three-way tie with Judson and Clemens for the district title heading into the final week of the regular season.

Mike Washington's 29-yard interception return into the endzone put Judson up 34-27 with 8:15 left in the game.

Smithson Valley then marched down the field that concluded with Levi William's 14-yard touchdown pass to Mason Pierce that tied the game at 34-34 and the game went to overtime.

Judson would score first in the extra frame on Shane King's 27-yard field goal to go up 37-34, but Smithson Valley responded with a winning drive.

Smithson Valley ends the season next week when they host New Braunfels, while Judson travels to play New Braunfels Canyon.
