WATCH: Spurs' Blossomgame playing great in Austin
Austin Spurs' Jaron Blossomgame is having himself a fine season in the G-league and continued to open eyes in Austin's recent wins over Memphis and Lakeland.
In 23 minutes, Jaron scored 20 points (9-12 shooting) including two assists and two rebounds in the Spurs' 121-99 win versus Memphis.
Looking at what he did on the floor, Blossomgame displayed a knack for getting to the rim and finishing with authority, ability to run the floor and play solid defense, using his length against Memphis to create turnovers and easy transition points for Austin.
Against Lakeland, Jaron posted 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 29 minutes in a 98-96 win.
Toss in an 18-point outing versus the Raptors in a 96-78 loss, and it is apparent Jaron is settling in nicely.
He even earned himself the top assist of the December.
The San Antonio Spurs have yet to call up their 2017 second-round NBA draft pick to the NBA but with play like this in Austin, he's sure to catch San Antonio's eyes. He's getting more in tune with San Antonio's system and emerging as a leader on the floor.
Jaron is averaging 15.5 points, 55% shooting, 8.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals through 22 games with Austin.
