Report: Spurs looking to trade for Clippers' Avery Bradley
According to a report, the San Antonio Spurs are interested in trading for former Texas Longhorn and Clippers guard Avery Bradley.
If true, the Spurs would get one of the best defenders in the league. He would shore up the team's point guard depth as well as beef up a Spurs' defense that is already tops in the NBA.
And if Kawhi Leonard does come back from injury, the team would boast one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. He made the 2013 NBA All-Defensive Team.
For his career, he is averaging 12 points, and 1.7 assists in seven seasons. He was recently traded from Detroit to the Clippers in the Blake Griffin deal.
What makes any deal even better is Avery has an expiring contract ($8.8 million) and that could help the Spurs financially to chase free agents.
