8-year-old girl who lives with prosthetic leg shares her Olympic dreams
SAN ANTONIO —
Her life hasn't always been easy, but a local 8-year-old girl is seeing her life's ups and downs as blessings, not challenges.
Azalia Sandoval, 8, lives with a prosthetic leg. She was born with only 1 kidney and missing a bone in her tibia. She spent more than 90 days in the NICU and just after her first birthday, her leg was amputated.
Still, with all she has had to face in her young life, she has set some pretty big goals for herself.
"I'm going to be a runner, because I'm going to go to the Olympics."
David Chancellor spoke to this amazing future Olympian. Watch the full clip above.
