Game of the Week: Steele at Judson

CONVERSE, Texas - Throw out the records. Judson vs. Steele is always Must See TV, and Converse was the place to be on Friday night for high school football. Dual-threat QB Julon Williams accounted for four touchdowns (3 rushing, 1 pass) and Judson held off a late rally by Steele for a 35-28 win. After taking a 21-7 lead at halftime, Judson (5-0) poured it on in the second half, as Williams scored a pair of 3rd-quarter TDs for a 35-7 lead. But Steele wouldn't go down quietly. The Knights (1-4) battled back with a pair of touchdown passes by QB Onyx Smtih and a 6-yard score by Tylee Tyson to cut the lead to seven with two minutes left to play. But the Knights never got the ball back and Judson ran out the clock for the win. Williams finished the game with 206 yards passing and another 78 yards on the ground.
