TNL FINAL: Steele 14, Clemens 13
SCHERTZ - Brenden Brady scored two touchdowns, including the game winner, to lead Steele past Clemens 14-13 in a District 27-6A showdown on Hallmark University's Thursday Night Lights presented by Jack in the Box.
With Steele down 13-7 with under two minutes to play, Brady busted through the Clemens defensive line for a 1-yard touchdown that gave the Knights a key district win.
With the win, Steele finished with a 6-4 overall record and 5-2 in district, while Clemens fell to 8-2 and 5-2
After Brady scored to give the Knights an early 7-0 lead, Clemens scored 13 unanswered points on a pair of Noah Taylor field goals and a Jordan Burleson touchdown to go up 13-7 heading into the fourth quarter.
Brady finished with 146 yards on 30 carries, which earned him TNL Player of the Game honors
