4-year-old, 6-year-old hijack car to go to Chuck E. Cheese's
Pittsburgh, PENNSYLVANIA (WPXI) —
An attempted trip to a popular children's game room and pizza shop nearly cost a six-year-old his life. That's because a four-year-old was behind the wheel of the car.
It happened in Pittsburgh.
Police say the four-year-old and his six-year-old brother wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese's, so they took the keys and started the car.
As the four-year-old driver was backing up, the six-year-old fell out of the car and was pinned underneath one of the wheels.
Rescue crews lifted the car and removed the wheel on the front passenger side to free the boy.
He was taken to children's hospital of Pittsburgh, where he is in critical condition.
