SAN ANTONIO —
A seven hour standoff at a Downtown apartment complex has ended peacefully.
Officers were called to the Soap Works apartments just after 8 a.m. Thursday for a welfare check. Police say a man there was having a mental crisis and barricaded himself inside an apartment.
Officers entered the apartment through a bathroom window around 3:20 p.m. Thursday. Police say the man struggled with the officers but was finally subdued.
The man is now being evaluated at a hospital and is not facing any charges.
