Suspected drunk driver runs red light, causes three-car crash, say police
SAN ANTONIO - A three car crash injured three people and resulted in the arrest of the driver who caused the crash, said police.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the driver of a Camaro heading north on San Pedro Avenue ran a red light at West Mulberry and collided with a white SUV at about 12 a.m. on Friday. Officers said the driver of the white SUV had a green light.
Both vehicles then slammed into a third car. The third car crashed into a fence at Mark Twain Middle School.
Two people inside the third car were taken to a hospital for treatment, the driver of the white SUV was also hospitalized.
The driver of the Camaro was arrested at the scene on a charge of DWI. No other details were provided by police.
