'Someone call 911' screamed murder-suicide victim just before attack

SAN ANTONIO - Police are investigating a murder-suicide that happened North of downtown on Monday night.

Police said it unfolded after an argument between a man and a woman.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. on the fourth floor of a condo on Broadway.

Police said a 36-year-old woman is now dead, and the shooter, a 37-year-old man, is also dead after turning the gun on himself.

After that argument started, police said the woman was holding a sliding class door closed to keep the man from coming inside. She was screaming "Someone call 911."

Neighbors did call police.

Police said at least half a dozen shots were fired. the woman ended up falling through broken glass, and when the shooter heard sirens, he then killed himself.

By the time police opened the door using forced entry, he was already dead.

Police are looking into what caused the argument.
