Serial thief arrested after daylong search in Seguin
SEGUIN, Texas - A wanted man is now sitting behind bars at the Guadalupe County Jail.
Porfirio Navarro Junior was arrested Thursday night in Seguin after a daylong search around the town. A task force of twenty officers arrested him after chasing him around town all day.
Police tell us before they caught Navarro, he was able to break into two more homes.
Porfirio was released from jail on December 17 on bond for multiple felony offenses. But police obtained two additional misdemeanor warrants for evading arrest and criminal trespass.
“He is known to frequent and commit crimes in this area of West Humphrey’s here in Seguin,” police wrote on Facebook. “The sooner we can get Porfirio Navarro in jail, the safer everyone’s belongings are.”
And they got him.
