Police investigating body found on city's South Side
SAN ANTONIO - Police are investigating a body found Monday afternoon on the city's South Side.
Authorities were called to 1717 SAS Drive at about 1 p.m. for reports of a body found. Police Chief William McManus said a person from one of the surrounding businesses called police to alert them.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner said there are no apparent signs of foul play or injuries, but the official cause of death for his death is still pending.
The man was in his 30's, McManus said. It appeared that "he wasn't there for long" when police arrived to the scene, he said.
