OPENING DAY UTSA FOOTBALL
Saturday at 6pm at Alamodome
UTSA vs Alabama State
It's time to say so long to summer, white clothes and white shoes and hello to football!!! The UTSA Roadrunners open the new season here at home with a new coach Saturday. The Runners take on Alabama State at 6:00 pm in the Alamodome! You can spend the afternoon tailgating before kick off in the parking lot. THE KLOCKS benefitting BOERNE BULLS YOUTH FOOTBALL
Sunday Evening at the Random Beer Garden in Boerne
Support future college players by keeping the fun going Sunday when the pigskin will meet live music in the Hill Country!! It's a family friendly good time at The big Bulls Bash! San Antonio Favorite THE KLOCKS will rock Boerne's Beer Garden—Random near Boerne Lake! Choose from dozens of draft beer, a live auction, food trucks, games, and dancing! There’s a VIP area with BBQ, casino games, and local beer! All this benefits the Boerne Bulls Youth Football Program!
NATURE SCAVENGER HUNT
Brooks City Base - Saturday 1:00-2:30 p.m.
For those who love a little competition, try your hand at the Audubon Society's Nature Scavenger Hunt at Brooks City Base. Bring your smartphone, tablet and camera, if you have them, for this Saturday afternoon adventure. There are prizes for all age categories and the kids will love the hunt!
Saturday - Monday at Hemisfair & Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center
Choose one, two or all three days of the holiday weekend to enjoy Labor Fest. The live music, career and health festival is so big it stretches from Hemisfair to the Henry B Gonzales Convention Center. There's even a carnival. Labor Fest is free and runs Friday through Sunday.
