Weekend Fun: Mardi Gras River Parade, Soul Saturday, Free Concert, Fandango

BUD LIGHT MARDI GRAS RIVER PARADE AND FESTIVAL
Saturday from 1-6 p.m. at Arneson River Theatre

Mardi Gras is officially next week, but this weekend it's Mardi Gras San Antonio-style! So grab your masks, beads and sense of adventure for the Mardi Gras River Parade and Festival. Live music including Jazz and Zydeco, entertainment, food trucks and decorated barges. Free admission and the fun runs from 1:00-6:00 at The Arneson River Theatre. MORE INFO

SOUL SATURDAY
Saturday from 5-10 p.m. at St. Paul's Square

St Paul's Square will come alive Saturday night with a huge mixer called GoodPeopleSA Soul Saturday. Admission is free. Drinks, food trucks, shopping, dancing and more from 5:00-10:00. Plus, watch as singers compete for cash prizes! MORE INFO

BEETHOVEN MAENNERCHOR'S 150TH/FREE CONCERT
Saturday at 7 p.m. at Tobin Center for Performing Arts

The Beethoven Maennerchor is celebrating 150 years of preserving German heritage, song, culture and language in our area. Saturday night the milestone will be highlighted with a free concert at the Tobin Center for Performing Arts. The Beethoven Maennerchor, and the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio will perform traditional German music including works by Ludwig van Beethoven. Doors open at 6:00. The free show starts at 7:00pm. FANDANGO UNDER THE STARS
Saturday at 6 p.m. at Pedrotti's Northwind Ranch in Helotes

Grab the kids or grandkids, put on your boots, your best western duds, hat and mosey out Saturday night for an evening of fun and Fandango Under the Stars benefitting Catholic Charities and the Guadalupe house. There will be best dressed and dance contests, petting zoo, face painting, dinner, pony rides and more. Our Leslie Bohl will be one of the “best outfit” judges. MORE INFO
