Man found partially under car with gunshot wounds

SAN ANTONIO - When police arrived on the scene for a call of ‘shots fired’ just Southwest of Downtown, they found a red sedan – headlights on and motor running. As they moved closer they discovered a man lying partially under the vehicle’s front bumper. Upon closer inspection, they saw he had a gunshot wound to his torso.
The call came out for the shooting just after 2am early Saturday morning near the intersection of Dorris Street and South Calaveras Street.
EMS rushed the 35-year-old Hispanic man to University Hospital in critical condition, but he was unresponsive. He eventually died from his wounds.
