Local towing company finds woman in trunk of car
SAN ANTONIO —
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating what led to a woman being locked in the truck of her car this weekend.
Texas Towing employees called authorities when they found the woman in the trunk of a red 2008 Chrysler Sedan just after noon on Saturday The employees said the car was originally towed after it was found parked in the middle of a lane near on the North side at about 6:20 a.m.
The woman told deputies that she went to meet a friend the night before and woke up in the trunk of her car Saturday morning with no memory of what happened. Deputies said she had no obvious injuries but she stated she felt as though she had been assaulted.
An investigator sought further medical evaluation since she had little memory of what happened, so a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner test was requested. The woman insisted that her parents take her to the hospital, however, she never showed up to the hospital.
According to her family, they got into an argument after leaving the towing lot and the woman had a friend pick her up instead. She has not been seen or heard from since.
No further details have been released at this time. The case remains under investigation.
