H-E-B employee slashed with box cutter during fight with coworker
SAN ANTONIO – An argument between two HEB employees got out of hand overnight. It happened just after 1 a.m. early Sunday morning at the HEB on West Olmos on the near North Side.
Police tells us the two HEB employees were stocking shelves when they began to argue over a bottle of water. That’s when one of them whipped out his box cutter and slashed the other on the arm. Other employees quickly broke up the fight.
EMS treated the Hispanic male victim in his 20s at the scene. He was taken to University Hospital in stable condition to get stitched up.
The 30-year-old Hispanic male stabbing suspect was arrested at the scene. He now faces charges of aggravated assault.
