SeaWorld for sale
SeaWorld may be putting itself up for sale. The Street reports it has hired a bank, Evercore, to look at options for the company.
SeaWorld has seen visits drop in the past few years. Guest spending has remained flat as well.
The company also has been working to recover from financial and public relations problems that stem from past negative press about its animal captivity programs, the release of the Blackfish movie and the recent death of the last killer whale born in captivity.
Most scenic restaurants in Texas
People love to enjoy summer dinner with a great view. 4 Texas restaurants are on Open Table’s list of ‘most scenic’ in the nation. Camp Verde General Store in Camp Verde, Five Sixty in Dallas, Four Winds in Wills Point and Shearns Seafood in Galveston were all on the list.
Microsoft is going full in on artificial intelligence. It’s even formed a group to study AI and figure out how to make money from it. Also in its annual report, it says the world is going from mobile first to AI first.
Clothes from vending machines
The Wall Street Journal says Uniqlo it will install clothes vending machines in ten airports as a trial. The retailer says people may find themselves in need of clothing, like when their bags go missing after a flight.
