Chihuahuas taken from home

SAN ANTONIO – Twenty-six Chihuahuas were taken out of a South Side home Friday evening. It happened on the 900-block of West Harding Boulevard shortly after 6pm.

Twenty-one of the dogs were alive, but in bad condition. Sadly, five were already dead.

Neighbors called animal cruelty investigators, they went inside based on the smell coming from the home.

No owner was at the home.

Authorities tell us it’s early in the investigation, but charges could be filed.
