SAN ANTONIO - Do you wanna to get rocked?

Get ready San Antonio because legendary rockers Def Leppard and Journey confirmed on Friday they are teaming up for what is sure to be the "tour of the year."

The 58-city tour kicks off May 21 in Hartford, Conn and will hit 10 stadiums along the way before finally making a stop on Aug. 31 at the AT&T Center.

The bands will equally split headlining spots and will feature full concerts by both. The excitement is shared by both bands, who shared the bill back in 2006 when Def Leppard was promoting the album "Yeah!," while Journey had yet had hired current frontman Arnel Pineda.

“This tour is going to be a blast," said Def Leppard's Joe Elliott. "We’ve toured together before and it was massive. This time it’s going to be even bigger and better!”

“We are all anxious to share our sound with the world again and, along with Def Leppard, we are part of a world-class package to the rock stage that spans decades and represents a multi-platinum legacy," said Journey's Jonathan Cain.

This is double good news for fans of Def Leppard, as the legendary rockers also announced that their entire catalog is now available for streaming.

Both bands have promised the tour will feature all-new production, and an arsenal of their hits on display such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Lights,” “Photograph,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Rock of Ages” and “Faithfully.”

Def Leppard was out on the road last year with REO Speedwagon and Tesla to support their latest self-titled album, while Journey appeared over the last few years with the Doobie Brothers, Santana, Asia, and the Steve Miller Band.

Tickets go on sale beginning Saturday, Feb. 3, at ATTCenter.com, Ticketmaster.com, and 800-745-3000. Stay tuned for presale and VIP ticketing information.
