Burger Boy celebrates National Cheeseburger Day with news of a second location
SAN ANTONIO - HUGE news today to help you celebrate National Cheeseburger Day! Burger Boy has begun construction on a second location!
“Burger Boy has officially broken ground on a second location on Potranco Rd. and Hunt Lane! Opening February 2018,” the restaurant announced on Instagram.
The original location, opened in 1985, is at 2323 N Saint Marys St just outside Downtown. Well, it was a Whopper Burger, but that’s a whole different story.
If you’ve never been to Burger Boy, we recommend the Working Man or Bates special – with an orange freeze.
“Once Burger Boy opens everyone else should just close their doors! Cause once you have a Burger Boy, you will never have another burger again! I'm just saying!!!! ???????” commented Rob Resendez on Facebook.
The new location will have elements of the classic Burger Boy architecture. This new design will be used in further expansion.
“Makes me sad that you guys are expanding. Burger boy is a hidden gem to most people. I hope you guys continue to keep everything the same. Best burger in SA hands down,” commented John DeHoyos
To which Burger Boy replied, “Thanks! That is the plan. Keeping everything the same. Just adding more accessibility to a Burger Boy!”
