Campus reopened following reported bomb threat, UTSA police say

The University of Texas San Antonio Police Department posted a report of a bomb threat at the McKinney Humanities Building Tuesday evening.

UPDATE:

The UTSA Police Department says the campus has reopened and normal operations will resume.

UTSA spokesman Joe Izbrand said the San Antonio Police Department initially received a call of a bomb in the McKinney Humanities Building. Although the 4-floor building is not as populated at night, there were still some students inside.

Izbrand said they are taking the situation very seriously and are working with the FBI to ensure something like this doesn't happen again. At this time, it is unknown as to if the caller was a student or not.
