SAN ANTONIO —
There was not even one restaurant that failed its health inspection this week.
Blue Plate Awarded to Tito's Mexican Restaurant
The News 4 Blue Plate award went to Tito's Mexican Restaurant. It is located on 955 South Alamo Street.
It is in the heart of the King William District. It serves fresh handmade flour and corn tortillas everyday.
"Every day we will made fresh rice, every day we will made fresh beans, so it's like your mom back there cooking that's one thing I believe people feel," said Mark Rodriguez, the restaurant's owner.
Tito's specialties are grilled fajitas and all kind of enchiladas.
"What makes us really unique is the sauce that we put on the enchiladas as well as we have on the flavors of cilantro creme, poblano, chipotle so those are the kind of things that we did that kept the restaurant growing as what it is right now."
It is open every day serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has a full cantina.
"I just want to thank our crew it is a big time honor for us to get this they work hard."
