The cooler... Or not so hot weather… is here and the calendar is moving into October so it's time for pumpkins, candy and fun! And the zoo is the place to start this weekend! The kid-favorite "Zoo Boo" is expanding this year!! Big changes!! For the first time, it's every weekend in October. So your little ghouls and goblins can dress up, trick or treat and enjoy non-scary entertainment during the day light! Its family-friendly fun for kids 12 and younger.

Getting lost in a corn maize is another fall tradition. And, the South Texas Maize in Hondo is saluting our American heroes!!!! Veterans, active duty military, fire fighters, law enforcement and emergency military personnel and their dependents are admitted free this weekend and next! Just bring a valid i-d and make a day of it!!

12 hours of fun at St John Berchman's Catholic Church. Saturday from noon til midnight enjoy the Fall Festival on church grounds. Free admission! Enjoy live music, rides, games, bingo and a raffle!
HOWL-O-SCREAM WEEKENDS FRIDAY-OCT 30TH/SEAWORLD SAN ANTONIO
Word is Seaworld is now haunted! Howl-o-scream begins Friday night and runs through the 30th. Five haunted houses, six scare zones, shows, rides, and bars in addition to your usual Seaworld fun! The thrill level goes up after dark and is recommended for only the brave or those 13 and older.
