Bringing tradition to the table, a popular Brazilian restaurant aces health inspection
SAN ANTONIO —
This week's News 4 San Antonio Blue Plate Award goes to Fogo De Chao located at 849 East Commerce Street.
From the traditional churrasco to new seafood dishes, Fogo serves all kinds of Brazilian-inspired plates. But the most popular one on the menu?
"The meat, which are the start of the show. We have over 15 different cuts of meats, beef, lamb, chicken, and pork," said Roy Garcia, the restaurant sales manager.
It all started more than 35 years ago in the countryside of Porto Alegre in Brazil. 18 years later Fogo De Chao came to the United States, with its first restaurant in Dallas.
"I would like to thank you for this great honor we work very hard here at Fogo De Chao to provide an exceptional guest experience for everyone," said Garcia.
